NYC Trip
I have been spending every spare moment planning an itinerary for my NYC trip. My last visit to the Big Apple inspired me to start my romantic suspense, Love and Loss, a book that’s still in its infancy. I’m hoping that this mini-vacation will give me the motivation I need to jump back into the story after a brief hiatus.
Besides the book-reading (and a few other promo events that might be scheduled), I really want to visit a few key locations that appear in Love and Loss. I’ll be spending a day walking around the Village/Lower East Side, home to my character Paige Reilly. And then… since it will be August, and therefore “summer in the city”, I’m also going to spend a day at the beach on Fire Island, getting to know the turf for one of the pivotal climactic scenes of the novel.
Brogan and Paige will be a tad bit colder than I will, as they will be there in December, but I’ll bet they can probably think of a way to keep warm…
